AGILOX North America Inc., a developer of autonomous mobile robots, or AMRs, for material handling, announced its first-ever presence at Pack Expo this month. At the trade show, the Alpharetta, Ga.-based company plans to launch its latest AMR, the AGILOX OFL, in North America.

“The U.S. West Coast represents a dynamic and growing market with immense potential for intelligent automation,” stated Ben Gaegauf, CEO of AGILOX North America. “We are thrilled to bring our innovative solutions to this region and show businesses how our AMRs can optimize their intralogistics operations.”

Founded in 2017, AGILOX has developed robots and software for warehouse transport and production logistics. The company said its AMRs can navigate intelligently and that users can flexibly integrate them into existing processes without the need for complex infrastructure changes.

AGILOX OFL part of an integrated offering

The AGILOX OFL is an omnidirectional autonomous stacker that can handle loads up to 800 kg/ 1,760 lb. and lift them up to 1.2 m/47.2 in. high. The company said this enables efficient floor-to-station deliveries, racking, and stacking.

The new AMR works closely with the heavy-duty AGILOX OCF. At Pack Expo, AGILOX said it will “demonstrate the power of an integrated solution of different AMRs working together for maximum efficiency.”

Pack Expo 2025 will run from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

More about AGILOX’s product portfolio

AGILOX said it has deployed more than 2,000 AMRs for prominent international clients such as DACHSER, Mondelēz, BMW, Bosch, and MAHLE.

The rest of the company’s product portfolio includes:

  • AGILOX ONE: This is the all-rounder of AGILOX’s line. The company said it’s suitable for production environments that need to organize their material handling processes in a highly flexible, yet safe and stable way.
  • AGILOX OCF: The OCF is a counterbalanced forklift that can transport heavy loads weighing up to 1,500 kg/3,306.9 lb. It is equipped with AGILOX’s X-SWARM TECHNOLOGY.
  • AGILOX ODM: This more agile robot can carry loads up to 300 kg/661.3 lb. Its omnidirectional driving system is made for small load transport. For example, it can move dollies from Point A to Point B.

With its global headquartered in Austria, AGILOX has subsidiaries in Europe, the U.S., and China. The company added that its robots serve a variety of sectors, including third-party logistics (3PL), automotive, food and beverage, and pharmaceuticals.
