Background

The AutoGuide mission is to be a worldwide leader in developing and marketing Mobile Robots that utilize advanced technologies, feature low-cost designs and deliver a broad range of efficiency improvements to material handling applications.

With a research and development center located 20 minutes outside of Boston in the world’s leading robotics and innovation corridor, AutoGuide Mobile Robots is the leader in cutting edge material handling solutions for a world on the move. In a time where the market is rapidly calling for shorter processing times and increased throughput while struggling with labor shortages, AutoGuide’s top of the line software, hardware, and engineering capabilities allow us to design and develop breakthrough technological innovations that improve safety, cut costs, and increase the efficiency of our client’s material handling operations.

Proudly assembled in the USA, AutoGuide’s manufacturing facility is located in Georgetown, Kentucky. Unlike many players in the industry, AutoGuide’s solutions are not manufactured as a retrofit kit to an existing piece of equipment, but instead as our own standalone platform, allowing us to provide the shortest lead times and most rapid ROI in the industry. By partnering with integrator and sister company, Heartland Automation, AutoGuide provides all the support needed to deliver maximum value by solving challenges with our customers.

On the software side, the AutoGuide Surepath software is designed to ease the deployment and operation of fleets of AMRs. AutoGuide’s solution is unique in the stacking and tugging market as they are offering solutions designed for autonomous operation, rather than retrofitting existing forktrucks.

Teradyne recently announced that they are acquiring AutoGuide Mobile Robots. The deal should be complete by the fourth quarter, 2019.
