
BITO Lagertechnik Bittmann GmbH and Locus Robotics Corp. today announced that they have partnered to deliver integrated systems for automated order fulfillment. BITO Lagertechnik is a leader in storage and order-picking systems, and Locus is a leader in warehouse robots using artificial intelligence.
The companies claimed that their strategic partnership will enable customers across industries to quickly implement adaptive automation for significant flexibility, productivity, and efficiency gains. It combines BITO’s expertise in the development and manufacturing of storage systems with Locus Robotics’ LocusONE orchestration platform and its fleet of LocusBot autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

BITO Lagertechnik said the “end-to-end” offerings will provide its global customer base with enhanced capabilities including:
