CaPow, an Israel-based company that can bring perpetual power to automated robotic fleets, is expanding into the US. The company has partnered with JLC Robotics, an AGV robotic distributor and supplier, to make CaPow’s charging system available to mobile robot operators in the US.
CaPow’s flagship product is Genesis, a perpetual energy delivery system for mobile robots. Genesis can deliver power to mobile robots while they’re on the go, eliminating downtime for robots. This allows mobile robot operators to deploy fewer robots and achieve 100% operational capacity. The system is robot agnostic, so it can be integrated with most kinds of mobile robots.
Genesis doesn’t require any charging stations, freeing up space for more storage for users. It’s also battery-free, which means operators don’t have to worry about lithium-based batteries, which are a hazardous material.

To charge a robot, it needs to stop working, costing an operation time and impacting its workforce, and this has made achieving the full potential of mobile robots impossible. JLC Robotics was founded in April 2022 to offer the Thouzer AGV manufactured by Doog Inc., a Japanese mobile robot maker, to North American manufacturers. The company now offers the entire family of Thouzer robots, which includes five different AGVs with various payloads ranging from small loads up to 88 lbs (40 kgs) to palletized loads up to 660 lbs (300 kg).

CaPow was founded in 2018 and is based in Be’er Sheva, Israel. Earlier this year, it raised $7.3 million in seed funding. IL Ventures, a VC fund focused on disruptive technologies for legacy industries, led the round.
