Founded in 2004, Xunjiexing Technology Corp. manufactures printed circuit boards, or PCBs. The company built a new flagship plant in Zhuhai, China, last year, and it recently added iRAYPLE autonomous mobile robots, or AMRs.

Xunjiexing Technology needed a system to deliver “end-to-end smart logistic coverage” throughout the PCB production process, from board cutting to final quality control. The Shenzhen, China-based company also wanted to fully automate transfers between processing equipment and buffer areas.

iRAYPLE, the flagship brand of Zhejiang, China-based HuaRay Technology Co., focuses on research and development, manufacturing, and sales of machine vision systems and AMRs. Founded in 2016, iRAYPLE said it works to help customers reduce costs and make factories smarter. It said its business has expanded to cover more than 50 countries and regions.

iRAYPLE deploys AMRs that use real-time scheduling

As part of the deployment, iRAYPLE implemented a large fleet of “latent lifting” AMRs engineered for high stability, precise positioning, and flexible carrier adaptation. These robots are flexibly scheduled under a MES-ICS-RCS (manufacturing execution system-integrated control system-robot control system) architecture.

This enables fully automated material requests, transfers, and buffer-zone management. iRAYPLE said its self-developed RCS performs real-time task scheduling and optimal path planning, ensuring continuous and efficient intralogistics operations across the entire facility.

The AMRs also interface with cross-floor elevator systems, enabling efficient vertical material flow and synchronized production across three manufacturing levels. The robots help maintain rack stability and secure transport even under challenging payload conditions, the company explained.

Integrated controls close logistics loop

iRAYPLE added that its ICS is fully integrated with the factory’s MES platform to coordinate robotic arms for automated PCB loading and unloading. It said this high-level integration significantly enhances production efficiency and demonstrates the transition from isolated AMR applications to comprehensive, full-process intelligent logistics within the PCB sector.

The ICS provides real-time AMR status feedback to the MES platform, which uses task-traceability data to plan compact buffer zones, enabling high-efficiency, closed-loop logistics management.

“This successful deployment demonstrates how iRAYPLE’s AMR Intelligent Logistics Solution empowers manufacturers such as Xunjiexing to enhance operational efficiency, ensure intralogistics safety, and drive the PCB industry toward a new era of automation, intelligence, and scalable smart manufacturing,” stated iRAYPLE.
