Two leading integrators of warehouse automation are joining forces: Element Logic today announced its acquisition of ABCO Systems LLC. Element Logic, which claimed to be the world’s largest AutoStore integrator, said the deal marks a milestone in its expansion in the Americas.
“We are thrilled to welcome ABCO Systems into the Element Logic family,” stated Krish Nathan, CEO of the Americas at Element Logic. “Together, we can combine ABCO’s customer relationships and expertise with our automation capabilities to provide holistic warehouse solutions tailored to the North American market.”
Founded in 1985, Element Logic said its cutting-edge technology, AI-driven software, and tailored systems can enhance warehouse efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. The Kløfta, Norway-based company has more than 900 employees across 30 countries, including 300 in the U.S. It acquired SDI Industries in 2022 and launched its eLogiq software at ProMat 2025.
“Element Logic brought the first AutoStore system to life in 2003,” said Ankush Malhotra, group CEO of Element Logic, during a press briefing. “Our proprietary software suite connects warehouse robots, from order intake to shipping. We’ve experienced a 35% CAGR [compound annual growth rate] in revenue since 2021 through geographic expansion, mergers and acquisitions, and expanded offerings.”

ABCO Systems has U.S. market experience
As consumer demand accelerates and supply chains grow more complex, ABCO Systems said it helps businesses stay competitive by integrating smart, flexible technologies that streamline every stage of warehouse operations — from order picking and packing to storage and fulfillment. The company touted its trusted partnerships with leading automation and storage manufacturers, ensuring long-term performance and return on investment (ROI).
Carlstadt, N.J.-based ABCO has more than 30 years of experience in warehouse design and materials handling systems tailored to each facility. Its integrated static systems include racking, shelving, mezzanines, and pick modules.
ABCO offers automation such as conveyors, sortation systems, goods-to-person (G2P) robots, and controls engineering. In addition, the company provides installation and project management services, as well as the FastFetch light-based picking system it acquired last year.
“Whether modernizing existing infrastructure or developing a new distribution center, ABCO Systems is committed to guiding clients through every stage of the process — from concept and engineering to installation and ongoing support,” said the company. It expects to add Element Logic to its demonstration center in New Jersey.
ABCO said it has about 54 employees and serves the e-commerce, third-party logistics (3PL), retail, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, and cold storage sectors. The company was exclusively advised by Stillwater Capital Corp.
“Our long-term customers include Walmart, Colgate-Palmolive, and Tesla,” said Malhotra. “We’ve had continuous growth with these customers, and it’s a really good sign of how we’ve continued to provide value for them. We’ve been listed in the Inc. 5,000 for four years. We also see an opportunity for AutoStore Pio with both very small and very large market segments.”
Partnership built on shared strengths
Element Logic and ABCO Systems said their offerings are complementary, positioning them to accelerate the adoption of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) and other technologies “in a market still ripe for transformation.”
“Element Logic and ABCO create a unique and powerful company within the industry,” said Seth Weisberg, CEO of ABCO Systems. “Very few systems integrators have the ability to implement a full turnkey solution, which includes anything from storage to platforms to automation and everything in between. Most have to farm out various aspects of any given project.”
“Element Logic now has the ability to do individual solutions in brownfield buildings, if that is what is required, or an entire greenfield solution,” he added.
The companies’ leadership teams have known each other for years, Malhotra told Automated Warehouse. “We’ve always been interested, and the timing was right,” he said. “From a process perspective, we worked with Seth and his team for three to four months.”
“ABCO and Element Logic Americas have collaborated on customer cases together,” recalled Nathan. “This speaks to the lack of overlap in our customer base. This give us proximity to customers and more touch points, allowing us to deepen that customization.”
The company said this acquisition aligns with its long-term strategy to broaden its diverse technology portfolio and serve as a full-spectrum automation partner. With the Element warehouse control system (WCS) for AutoStore integrated with other warehouse management and orchestration software, Element Logic said it expects to provide “full warehouse coverage, from inbound to ASRS, outbound, and services.”
“This acquisition is a significant milestone in our journey to revolutionize warehouse performance worldwide,” added Malhotra. “ABCO’s strong market position, deep domain and industry expertise, and customer-centric approach make them a perfect fit. Together, this gives us the scale to be a full-spectrum automation partner in the Americas and bring world-class innovation solutions to the market and our customer base.”
