ELOKON Inc., a provider of safety and assistance systems for material handling and intralogistics, today launched its Product Configurator. The configurator enables warehouses and logistics companies to quickly find forklift and pedestrian safety, forklift fleet telematics, or very narrow aisle systems for their operating environments, it said.

The Product Configurator can streamline the decision and purchasing process, create safer work environments, and maximize warehouse equipment uptime, claimed the company.

Founded in 1986, ELOKON provides automated forklift and fleet management systems. It said that they can enhance safety, efficiency, and productivity in intralogistics operations.

The Tornesch, Germany-based company said it serves more than 4,250 customers around the world. It has dedicated customer service teams in the U.S., Germany, and Poland, serving clients in over 45 countries worldwide.

How does the Product Configurator work?

As more technologies aimed at boosting productivity come to market, warehouse operators are spending more time to find the tools that are best for their facilities, said ELOKON. The company asserted that its Product Configurator can remove guesswork from this process by offering offers clear answers in less than five minutes.

The tool aims to provide a precision, data-driven selection that is the right fit for each customer. The configurator uses industry insights and product expertise to ensure each recommendation is backed by proven safety performance, said ELOKON.

The system provides a personalized, best-fit recommendation by asking facility managers to answer a few strategic questions online about their forklift fleets:

  • How many of the company’s sites use lift trucks?
  • How many forklifts do you own, lease, or rent across all sites?
  • What is their primary solution focus — collision avoidance, telemetry, very narrow aisle (VNA), etc.?
  • What are their detection preferences — tag-based, tagless, or hybrid?
  • What are their maintenance and access control needs?

Once submitted, the company will receive its findings within seconds and can then send an email to schedule a meeting to discuss any questions and the next steps.
