Automation providers are continuing to collaborate to offer combined systems and services to warehouse operators. GreyOrange Inc. this week announced that it has partnered with enVista Corp., which has joined GreyOrange’s Certified Partner Network of systems integrators.

The companies said supply chain and retail customers can benefit from enVista’s implementation, integration, and deployment consulting services for GreyOrange’s GreyMatter and gStore software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications. GreyOrange and enVista are also working toward the launch of their first joint product.

“We are excited about the partnership with GreyOrange,” stated Jim Barnes, CEO of enVista. “It allows enVista to have a single warehouse orchestration system provider to complement our automation and robotic systems integration business.”

enVista brings material handling, operational expertise

Founded in 2002, enVista provides robotics and automation for materials handling, as well as strategy services, Microsoft systems and managed IT, and enterprise consulting. The Brea, Calif.-based company said it uses its domain expertise to serve thousands of leading brands.

enVista asserted that its ability to implement and operate across supply chain, IT, and enterprise technologies makes it a trusted advisor. It noted that its capabilities complement those of GreyOrange.

“GreyOrange has the only warehouse orchestration platform in the market that optimizes independent robotic multi-agents within a facility, regardless of the manufacturer,” said Barnes. “GreyOrange’s flexibility of integration supports one of enVista’s key differentiators, which is to design and integrate automated facilities with any variety of autonomous robots.”

“This partnership further enables enVista to provide a unique level of innovation and creativity within our clients’ facilities, free from technological constraints,” he said. “For enVista, facility optimization is about balancing the art of possibility with data science to create expansive operational excellence.”

Last year, enVista joined the robotics group of materials handling association MHI, which organizes the ProMat and MODEX trade shows.

GreyOrange offers vendor-neutral warehouse orchestration

Founded in 2012, GreyOrange provides warehouse orchestration software. The Roswell, Ga.-based company said its GreyMatter and gStore products help manage automation, inventory, and people in warehouses and retail stores. With that orchestration and real-time visibility into omnichannel nodes, customers can reduce their cost per unit, eliminate lost inventory, ensure worker safety and productivity, and enhance in-store experiences, it claimed.

“As global supply chains become increasingly complex and expensive, organizations are under growing pressure to automate and optimize their processes,” Gupta said. “GreyMatter and gStore are harnessing the power of AI to perform more than a million optimizations every minute for customers across four continents, helping them save cost, increase revenue, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.”

The company said its software and artificial intelligence have enabled dozens of major retailers and logistics providers to adopt automation with confidence that fulfillment processes will run smoothly. GreyOrange noted that its systems are vendor-agnostic and compatible with diverse automation hardware delivered via the Certified Ranger Network of system integrators.

“We invited enVista to join our Certified Partner Network based on its proven implementation methodology and decades of expertise as a trusted system integrator,” said Akash Gupta, co-founder and CEO of GreyOrange. “We look forward to supporting enVista and its clients with warehouse automation and store solutions powered by our software.”
