This week, Adrian Stoch, the former chief automation officer at GXO Logistics, took over as CEO of Americas at Hai Robotics Co. The warehouse automation developer said Stoch will help it meet growing regional demand.
“I’m honored to join Hai Robotics at such a pivotal time,” Stoch said. “My top priority will be tackling one of the toughest challenges in warehouse automation: reliability at scale. Customers don’t want shiny innovation — they want practical solutions that deliver value and solve major supply chain problems.” “
“I look forward to driving Hai’s promise of reliable innovation by ensuring our industry-leading solutions are built to perform with consistency, confidence, and measurable impact,” he added.
Hai said the appointment marks a strategic milestone as it accelerates growth across the Americas and continues to deliver its automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) to some of the world’s most dynamic supply chains.
Hai Robotics offers to optimize warehouse space
Founded in 2016, the Shenzhen, China-based company said its systems offer flexibility and performance for facilities of all sizes. Hai Robotics was a 2022 RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award honoree for the launch of its HaiPick autonomous case-handling robot (ACR).
HaiPick can reduce warehouse storage footprints by up to 75% while increasing storage density and vertical capacity to over 39 ft. (12 m), claimed Hai Robotics. They can achieve over 99% order pick accuracy, provide a 4x boost in efficiency, 3x daily throughput, and eliminate the need for human travel in order picking, it said.
With more than 1,300 projects implemented across over 40 countries, supported by eight global offices and 60-plus partners, Hai Robotics offers local support worldwide. Its U.S. headquarters are in Norcross, Ga
Stoch brings 30 years of supply chain experience
Stoch is an operations executive with three decades of experience driving global supply chain transformation. Hai said he brings deep expertise at the intersection of automation, artificial intelligence, and logistics.
He joins Hai Robotics following senior leadership roles at Fortune 500 companies, including Target and, most recently, GXO Logistics. At Greenwich, Conn.-based GXO, he built the company’s global automation function from the ground up.
Stoch specializes in using advanced automation to drive operational excellence and unlock untapped value, applying a customer-first approach across industries and environments, said Hai.
“I’m thrilled to welcome Adrian as CEO of the Americas,” said Richie Chen, founder and CEO of Hai Robotics. “His passion for customer success aligns with our No. 1 value: being customer-obsessed. At Hai, we don’t just sell robots — we deliver impactful results. I’m confident that under Adrian’s leadership, Hai Americas will reach new levels of customer satisfaction and team excellence.”
In 2025, Hai Robotics has worked to build new partnerships and deploy more robots in North America. In April, the company released HaiPick Climb, which combines autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) with an ASRS. The HaiClimber robot is able to climb high into the storage array to retrieve and put away bins.
