“We are honored to be recognized as an emerging logistics technology enterprise and we hope to use this platform to highlight the very real problems that logistics leaders are facing,” says ForwardX’s Founder and CEO, Nicolas Chee. “The last 18 months have resulted in seismic shifts across the supply chain, affecting everything from the procurement of material and production of goods to how, when, and where orders are fulfilled. Our work to help logistics operators adapt and thrive under new circumstances remains our single biggest focus and we appreciate Logistics Tech Outlook highlighting startups that use cutting-edge technology in this way. We hope to kick on from here and continue to establish ourselves as a global leader so that we can bring our vision of next-generation logistics to reality.”

It has been widely reported that the logistics industry stands to gain substantially from digital transformation, with technologies like mobile robotics being furthest ahead in their adoption. While the implementation of new technologies has historically been slow in the industry, the pandemic has had unprecedented effects on the supply chain and accelerated the need for innovative solutions. However, with a growing number of providers, supply chain executives may be overwhelmed by the sheer variety of choice. As a leading publication in the industry, Logistics Tech Outlook aims to recognize and highlight growing logistics technology providers to its 6-figure audience through its Top 10 awards.

“We are glad to feature ForwardX Robotics as the cover story of our special edition on Logistics Tech Startups 2021,” said Linda James, Managing Editor of Logistics Tech Outlook. “Based on its Platform-as-a-Service solution delivery model, ForwardX has built an impressive platform through its advanced fleet management software and visual AMRs to help logistics facilities deal with their current and future challenges.”

Considering its work in revamping the logistics industry, ForwardX was chosen by a panel of experts and editorial board members for the versatility it brings to material handling workflows within warehousing and manufacturing environments. By embracing a platform-based approach to product development, the company has established itself as a pioneer of flexible, high-performance solutions across a wide range of industries. The company’s robotics software platform serves as the foundation for developing solutions in various industries, from logistics and production to retail and healthcare.
