Mobile robot provider ForwardX Technology Co. this week announced a strategic partnership with Lynx Automation, which will be its official distributor in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg.

“We’re excited to join forces with Lynx Automation as we continue to scale across Europe,” said Nicholas Chee, CEO of ForwardX Robotics. “Their market insight and hands-on approach will be essential as we bring intelligent, vision-based AMR solutions to businesses throughout the Benelux region.”

ForwardX offers a growing range of vision-based autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for case picking, pallet transport, and towing, as well as software for dynamic fleet orchestration.

Last year, the Beijing-based company launched smaller, nimbler, middleweight AMRs. The Flex 300-L Mini platform also serves as the mobile base for the Flex 300-SCB Mini.

In April, ForwardX unveiled a robotics factory that will handle its entire production process, from assembly to testing. It said it has deployed more than 4,200 AMRs across over 200 sites worldwide.

Lynx integrates logistics automation

Founded in 1999, Lynx Automation has specialized in integrating software, hardware, and robotics to optimize production and logistics processes. The Herentals, Belgium-based company delivers customized technologies including warehouse management systems (WMS), pick-to-light systems, internal transport automation, and mobile software for scanning and order picking.

“At Lynx Automation, we’re not just building smarter logistics—we’re shaping the future of autonomous operations,” stated the company. “Through our new partnership between Lynx Logic and ForwardX, we’re bringing world-class AMRs to the Benelux and DACH [Germany, Austria, and Switzerland] regions, enabling our clients to scale faster, move smarter, and operate more safely than ever before.”

Lynx Automation added that it brings deep regional expertise and a strong reputation in implementing cutting-edge industrial automation. The company said its team is dedicated to optimizing operational efficiency through smart technology integrations, making it an ideal partner for ForwardX’s expanding European operations.

ForwardX to lean on Lynx’s European expertise

ForwardX said the new partnership strengthens its growing presence in Europe. In August 2024, the company named Optiscan Group as its official distributor in Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. As part of its European expansion, ForwardX has also partnered with VOYATZOGLOU Group and its EuroFit subsidiary.

Through this collaboration with Lynx Automation, businesses across the Benelux region will gain local access to ForwardX’s AMRs. An open demonstration center has already been established in Belgium, allowing potential customers to experience the technology firsthand.

The partnership officially began several weeks ago. It is already gaining traction among local manufacturers and logistics providers seeking scalable automation, according to the companies.

“Together, ForwardX and Lynx Automation are committed to delivering tailored automation solutions that boost productivity, reduce costs, and future-proof intralogistics across industries,” said ForwardX. “With local support now available and demo systems live, this partnership sets a strong foundation for long-term success in the Benelux region.”
