TAHUHU, a cold chain logistics provider, is partnering with Geekplus Technology Co. to transform its Hong Kong warehouse into a facility powered by robotics. With growing demands for faster deliveries, stricter temperature control, and operational precision, TAHUHU said it embraced automation to address these challenges and optimize its logistics processes.

“The cold chain industry is evolving rapidly, and automation has helped us deliver better, faster, and more reliably,” said Reggie Fung, the general manager of TAHUHU.

The company deployed Geek+ autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), low-temperature four-way shuttle robots, and automated vertical lifts at the facility.

Geek+ said its systems can automate warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, and sorting. The Beijing and San Diego-based company said it can help customers worldwide improve productivity, efficiency, and flexibility. It won a 2025 RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award for its deployment with Unilever.

TAHUHU enhances safety, sustainability with Geek+

TAHUHU manages goods across three temperature zones — 0°C to 4°C, -18°C, and -25°C — while also maintaining temperature consistency and reducing contamination risks. The company said Geek+’s energy-efficient solutions also align with its sustainability goals, reducing operational costs and environmental impact.

“Whether it’s ice cream, fruits, or frozen meat, Geek+ helps us maintain the highest quality standards,” Fung said.

Looking forward, TAHUHU plans to expand its automation capabilities with Geek+ systems such as RoboShuttle and SkyCube to further enhance scalability and efficiency.

Survey gets positive customer feedback
