Hunkemöller, one of Europe’s leading lingerie brands, needed to meet increasing demand and uphold its commitment to delivering excellence to its customers. The Hilversum, Netherlands-based company deployed mobile robots from Geekplus Technology Co. to help fulfill orders at its distribution center.

“We needed a scalable, intelligent automation solution that could support our fast-paced business and expanding product range,” said Nick Gresham, chief financial officer at Hunkemöller. “Geekplus stood out with their proven expertise in retail logistics and innovative, flexible order fulfilment solutions.”

Hunkemöller has more than 750 stores in 20 countries, both inside and outside Europe. Since it was founded in 1886, the company has grown into a pan-European, omnichannel brand.

Hunkemöller deploys AMR fleet for fulfillment

The warehouse in Almere, Netherlands, now features more than 150 P800 autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), 30 picking stations, 738 racks, and four putaway stations. Designed to enhance picking efficiency, storage density, and throughput, the Geek+ system supports Hunkemöller’s dynamic inventory needs across more than 750 stores worldwide and a rapidly growing e-commerce service.

The AMRs are deployed on a custom-built 4,608 sq. m (49,600 sq. ft.) mezzanine developed by Anera. They bring entire shelves directly to the employees, minimizing walking time and maximizes efficiency, said Geek+.

The company said its goods-to-person (G2P) robots are suitable for high-SKU fashion operations. At the Almere warehouse, the system enables fast, accurate order fulfillment while supporting Hunkemöller’s retail growth and digital-first strategy.

“We are proud to support Hunkemöller, one of Europe’s leading fashion retailers, in building a future-ready distribution center,” said Yiliang Dong, sales director for Western Europe at Geek+.

Geek+ continues European expansion

Geek+ said the collaboration underscores its growing presence in Europe. In June, warehouse automation integrator Logistex announced plans to deploy 165 Geekplus robots at Yusen Logistics’ distribution center in Northampton, U.K.

Like Hunkemöller, Logsitex chose to deploy the automation provider’s shelf-to-person technology. The partners said they will implement the system in two different phases to ensure business continuity throughout the transformation.

Earlier in the year, Nisbets, an omnichannel distributor of catering equipment and consumables, deployed Geek+ robots at its warehouse in Bristol, U.K. The company deployed 190 AMRs, including 39 RS8 robots, 133 P40 robots, and 18 P800 robots.

In addition, conveyor systems connect all processes from goods-in to goods-out, said the companies.

Founded in 2015, Geekplus, or Geek+, said that more than 800 customers use its AMRs to improve the flexibility, reliability, and efficiency of their supply chains. The company was recognized with a 2025 RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award for the deployment of its SkyCube automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS) with Unliver PLC.

Geek_ was recently listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Ltd. (HKEX).
