Hy-Tek Intralogistics, a provider of supply chain automation, software, and integration support, Tuesday announced a partnership with Packsize, a developer of right-sized packaging automation. The companies plan to build smarter, more sustainable supply chains by integrating automated packaging into the warehouse execution workflow.
“At Hy-Tek, we vet every technology we recommend through the lens of what’s right for our customers—technologies that drive real results and create lasting value,” said Sandy Stephens, the chief strategy officer at Hy-Tek Intralogistics. “This partnership with Packsize adds a critical layer to our strategic automation portfolio. By engineering right-sized packaging directly into the workflow design, we’re helping customers minimize waste, accelerate payback, and elevate the entire fulfillment experience.”
Hy-Tek claimed that by offering Packsize’s advanced packaging systems with its warehouse automation solutions, including its IntraOne software platform, customers gain a powerful tool. The companies hope to improve throughput, reduce material waste, and optimize labor efficiency.
Columbus, Ohio-based Hy-Tek Intralogistics asserted that it provides comprehensive automation expertise, from design to execution. The company said its results stem from a complete ecosystem approach—blending strategic services, proprietary software, integration, and aftermarket support.
Hy-Tek Intralogistics claimed its flagship IntraOne Software can improve operational efficiency in warehouses. The company said it does this through a 93% reduction in errors, lower labor costs, improved customer satisfaction, and accelerated order fulfillment.
More about Packsize’s packaging technology
From manufacturing and distribution to direct-to-consumer fulfillment, Packsize said it delivers systems that reduce box volume, eliminate excess void fill, and streamline packaging operations. When integrated into automation strategies such as pick-to-box, autonomous mobile robot (AMR) cart building, induction into automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), or outbound sortation, Packsize said it can amplify the impact of warehouse automation.
“Hy-Tek’s team of supply chain experts understands the importance of designing automation systems that deliver measurable ROI,” said Paul Roy, the SVP of Global Partnerships at Packsize. “That’s why we’re proud to partner with an integrator that leads with insight and builds for long-term value. Together, we can ensure that packaging is no longer an afterthought—it’s a performance advantage.”
Packsize’s technology has helped customers achieve a 40% reduction in packaging volume, 20% savings on corrugated material, and avoided over 23 million truckloads. This has resulted in nearly 2 billion gallons of diesel saved and 17 billion kilograms of carbon emissions eliminated, added Roy.
“Automation is a major investment, and success depends on how well every component—from software and robotics to packaging—is aligned,” said Stephens. “Our goal is to make those investments smarter, more strategic, and ultimately more sustainable.”
