Hy-Tek Intralogistics this week announced a strategic partnership with Movu Robotics. With the partnership, Hy-Tek will offer the benefits of Movu’s plug-and-play robotics portfolio as part of its solutions for customers in the North American market.

“Our mission centers around solving current and emerging business challenges for our clients,” said Zak Boehm, chief automation officer at Hy-Tek. “This partnership with MOVU enables Hy-Tek to provide a new portfolio of powerful solutions for automated pallet storage and retrieval, solving operational problems across multiple industries.”

Hy-Tek Intralogistics is a supply chain integration partner and provider of warehouse and distribution technology. Movu Robotics provides automated systems intended to ease logistics in the warehouse.

Hy-Tek provides software, consulting expertise

Hy-Tek said it provides comprehensive expertise, from design to execution. It said its results stem from a complete ecosystem approach—blending strategic services, proprietary Hy-Tek IntraOne software, integration, and aftermarket support.

The Columbus, Ohio-based company works alongside its customers to develop the right strategy and tailor systems to maximize efficiency and productivity in their warehouse operations based on their specific needs.

For example, Hy-Tek last month combined its IntraOne software with Avantiico’s third-party logistics (3PL) billing system built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain platform. The 3PL Automation Cloud can manage contracts, reduce billing cycles, optimize cash flow, and enhance profitability, the companies said.

Movu Robotics brings flexible, scalable systems

“This partnership opens up a world of possibilities for us and our clients,” said Jos De Vuyst, CEO of Movu Robotics and Stow Group. “By combining our cutting-edge technology and proven solutions with Hy-Tek expertise, we are excited to deliver even greater value and efficiency in warehouse operations.”

With a philosophy of “no warehouse left behind,’” Movu Robotics said it tackles automation with modular, scalable, flexible, and efficient robots.

These systems include the Movu atlas, a pallet shuttle system for multiple deep lane storage, and Movu ifollow, an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for collaborative picking or transport of load carriers such as pallets. All these solutions include the appropriate supporting software, the Lokeren, Belgium-based company said.

“Movu Robotics sub-systems are designed with seamless integration in mind,” De Vuyst added. “I am glad that our strategic partnership with Hy-Tek will bring automated solutions to more customers globally, helping them meet their challenges and boost their performance, resilience, and service levels.”

Hy-Tek Intralogistics will show its systems and joint offerings at Booth N7333 at ProMat 2025 next week in Chicago.
