Last week, Edward Auriemma joined Körber Business Area Supply Chain as the new CEO of the company’s supply chain software business, a joint venture with KKR. Körber said Auriemma brings experience and a track record of driving strategic growth and operational excellence within the technology and supply chain sectors.

“I am honored to lead the supply chain software business of Körber and build on its formidable legacy of innovation,” stated Auriemma. “The business is uniquely positioned to help customers leverage its flexible technology to make their supply chain operations more efficient, and I am excited to drive that mission forward.”

Körber Supply Chain claimed that it provides a broad range of proven, end-to-end systems tailored to help make supply chain management a competitive advantage. The business unit said its portfolio of robotics, software, and voice systems, plus the expertise to tie it all together, helps customers of all sizes “conquer supply chain complexity.”

It has offices in Hamburg, Germany, and Minneapolis.

He was instrumental in steering the Scottsdale, Ariz.-based company’s strategic direction, transforming its go-to-market plan and scaling its operations globally.

Auriemma’s leadership was pivotal in enhancing Blue Yonder’s global presence and significantly boosting its market standing and financial performance, according to Körber.

Previously, Auriemma was chief operations officer at Alight Solutions, where he developed an operational and commercial framework that brought the workforce company through a successful public listing on the New York Stock Exchange.

He also strengthened its market position as a leading provider of integrated digital human capital and business offerings.
