Meili Robots this week announced Meili FMS 4.0, which it described as the most significant update of its fleet management system this year. It said the release is intended to meet the growing complexity and demand for efficiency in modern, multi-level logistics and warehouse environments.
“The future of robot fleet usage is branching towards multi-story and highly complex use cases,” said Aldus von der Burg, CEO of Meili Robots. “This release is not just about new features; it’s about providing the robust, scalable intelligence our customers need to thrive in vertical logistics. By centralizing multi-floor control and improving the user experience, we’re making robot fleet management more efficient and intuitive than ever before.”
Interoperability is a major challenge in today’s automated mobile robot (AMR) landscape, according to Meili Robots. Founded in 2019, it offers fleet management software that it said can orchestrate diverse robots, maximize operational efficiency, improve visibility, and accelerate adoption of automation.
The Copenhagen, Denmark-based company explained that its vendor-agnostic layer integrates AMRs from multiple vendors. It claimed that it can eliminate fragmentation, help organizations avoid vendor-lock in, and allow flexible scaling with the best robot for each task.
Meili FMS 4.0 adds multi-floor capabilities
The logistics industry is rapidly adopting advanced robotics, but managing diverse fleets across sprawling, multi-story facilities remains a major hurdle, noted Meili Robots. The new software release directly addresses this challenge by providing a unified, central point of control, it asserted.
Meili FMS 4.0 introduces key features, said the company:
- Multi-floor capabilities: A new core functionality allows users to monitor, manage, and dispatch AMRs across complex vertical environments. Meili said this can maximize asset utilization and minimizing downtime in multi-story warehouses.
- Redesigned dashboard: An intuitive, modern, and data-rich user interface provides a wide range of performance insights, enabling operations teams to identify bottlenecks and optimize missions instantly, the company claimed.
- Improved user experience: Significant enhancements to navigation and flow simplify complex fleet management tasks, making the platform more accessible and reducing the learning curve for new users, it said
- Advanced customization options: Meili said these allow enterprises to tailor the platform’s appearance and functionality to better align with specific operational workflows and legacy systems.
- Behind-the-scenes enhancements: Core performance upgrades ensure rock-solid stability and scalability, which the company said are essential for growing fleets and high-volume operations.
Updates to remove barriers to adoption
“This update is critical for enterprises shifting toward more vertically integrated logistics models,” said Meili Robots. “By intelligently handling the complexity of cross-floor operations, the platform removes a significant barrier to scaling, ensuring that AMRs can execute missions across an entire facility—not just a single level.”
The company said the redesigned dashboard and improved user experience transform real-time data into immediate, actionable insights. This enables warehouse operators to maintain high throughput and consistency even during peak demand, it noted.
Meili added that the advanced customization options reflect its commitment to solving unique customer challenges.
“The platform now offers deeper integration points and tailored workflow configurations, moving beyond a one-size-fits-all solution to provide true operational specificity,” it said. “This release solidifies Meili Robots’ position as the essential software layer enabling fully optimized, high-performance automated facilities.”
