CES2019 starts tomorrow (Jan 8, 2019) and if you’re heading to CES® this week, there are plenty of robots to see. But what about mobile robots? We’ve done the hard work of finding all of the mobile robots for you at the show, along with recent announcements from the robotics companies in attendance. You will have to search the floor to find them amidst the sea of other distractions, but here’s our list of notable mobile robots to see at the show.
temi Robot
temi launched their solution last year and initiated beta’s in San Francisco and New York City. At CES 2019, they will be showcasing their personal mobile robot solution in a big way. We think that the temi robot is novel in that it’s an affordable and practical personal robotic solution that’s not trying to emulate an human form factor. As a telepresence solution available for $1499, temi is attempting to fill a niche in the market. Website: https://www.robotemi.com/
Aeolus Robotics
Aeolus is another personal robot. The Aeolus robot features a mobile platform with an Arm that has 7-DOF + 1-DOF interchangeable gripper hand including tools, 2-DOF torso, 2-DOF head equipped with 3D camera and 5MP 2D camera. Positioned as a “Domestic robot”, Aeolus will “clean up your mess” while you sleep. Aeolus debuted last year at CES 2018, so be sure to stop by their booth and see the progress that they’ve made in a year. Website: http://aeolusbot.com
Robby
Robby 2 is here! The Robby robot is a delivery robot that has been in development for three years, and is now in regular service in several cities in the bay area. The most recent news about Robby is a partnership with Pepsi to delivery snacks to students on the campus of the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Website: http://robby.io
RoboMart
In the autonomous vehicle market, RoboMart is positioning itself as the first driverless grocery store. The concept is make grocery shopping more accessible. Through a mobile app, you simply search for a grocery item, select the closest RoboMart and have it drive to you with the goods. They are currently running pilots in the bay area. The vehicle is about the size of a mini-van and it will offer a limited selection of items. Website: https://robomart.co
Pudubot & Gazebot
Chinese robotic manufacturer Pudu will be showcasing two autonomous mobile robotics solutions targeted at indoor delivery operations. The Pudubot and Gazebot offer two different form factors of the vehicle, Pudobot is an open shelving configuration and Gazebot is a closed/controlled delivery robot. Gazebot will target hospitality delivery operations in hotels. Pudobot will target food delivery operations in restaurants as a robotic waiter. Website: http://www.pudutech.com

forwardx Robotics
Forwardx will be launching a new consumer product at the show in the form of a consumer following suitcase. With Forwardx, you no longer have to pull your suitcase through the airport. Cruzr
Finally, we have Cruzr, by UBtech. UBtech is a Chinese consumer robotics powerhouse. Cruzr is their largest consumer robot yet. Marketed as a customized, cloud-based, intelligent humanoid service robot, Cruzr has two arms, yet it’s not clear that Cruzr will be able to pick anything up. Cruzr will be able to autonomously navigate your house or office and offer remote telepresense capabilities.
