Netlogistik to start offering SVT Robotics’ SOFTBOT platform

Netlogistik, a developer of services to guide companies as they digitally transform their supply chains, said it is offering SVT Robotics Inc.’s SOFTBOT Platform. This tech-agnostic platform is intended to empower IT teams to integrate, monitor, and scale automation.

The new partnership means that Netlogistik customers using the Blue Yonder warehouse management system (WMS) can more easily deploy automation, reduce support costs, and maximize uptime across their facilities, according to the company.

“Our customers want to add automation to their warehouse environment, but it is not as simple as it sounds, given there are so many different automation types and technologies,” said Scott Zickert, managing partner of Netlogistik, in a release. “Once we integrate the Blue Yonder WMS into a client’s operation, we can quickly and easily add picking systems, robots, put-away systems, vision systems, and more through the SOFTBOT Platform. Customers improve operational efficiency and scalability for faster ROI.”

Denver-based Netlogistik said it has helped hundreds of Blue Yonder WMS customers drive faster time to value. With its experience and methodology, the company claimed that it can help customers optimize their warehouses by increasing productivity and lowering operational costs.

SOFTBOT solves integration challenges, says SVT

The SOFTBOT Platform offers reusable integrations that are ready to deploy, with no custom code required, according to SVT Robotics. SOFTBOT can normalize and aggregate supply chain data from disparate sources, enabling companies to easily optimize their operations, it said.

SVT Robotics added that its platform can also provide greater visibility to better monitor how robots are performing. It can detect problems early, and it can alert users to troubleshoot for faster resolution, said the Norfolk, Va.-based company.

SOFTBOT also aims to ease scaling of automation to additional sites. Users can easily deploy the same workflows they’re already using into new sites, even when different technology is used, said SVT. It noted that SOFTBOT comes with prebuilt solutions to minimize the burden on IT.

“We are pleased to add Netlogistik as a reseller partner, as we’ve achieved success together with multiple customers,” stated Jay Blinderman, vice president of sales and partner success at SVT Robotics. “As a Blue Yonder Gold Partner, Netlogistik is well positioned to help operations and IT teams achieve their automation and digital transformation goals.”

Platforms such as SOFTBOT are helping to lower the barrier to entry for systems integrators by making it easier to integrate third-party systems with intuitive user interfaces, said the company.

The global logistics automation market was valued at $30.9 billion in 2022, according to Emergen Research. It projected the market to experience a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 14.3% to reach $118.12 billion in 2032.
