Floatic, a provider of mobile robots for e-commerce warehouses, this month announced a strategic partnership with global robotics manufacturer Geekplus Technology Co. The companies said they plan to establish a joint sales pipeline to deliver integrated warehouse automation to Asia-Pacific clients.

The strategic partnership combines Floatic’s proprietary in multi-robot management technology and systems integration expertise with Geek+’s lineup of robots, industry networks, and mass-production capabilities.

“This partnership enables both companies to complement each other’s technologies, responding more effectively to various clients’ needs,” said James Leung, head of sales for the Asia-Pacific region at Geek+. “We look forward to becoming leading partners in driving true innovation in warehouse automation.”

Floatic optimizes for e-commerce

Floatic provides autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) and the Floware picking system optimized for multi-SKU inventory storage and volatile e-commerce orders. Floware includes the proprietary Floatic Engine software, which the company said integrates with clients’ warehouse management systems (WMS).

Floatic Engine also enables fleet management systems and real-time monitoring alongside the Flody robot hardware designed specifically for warehouse environments.

“Many companies have struggled to find automation solutions suited to the diverse range of goods and workflows within their warehouses,” said Chan Lee, CEO of Floatic. “By delivering an integrated solution through this partnership, clients can minimize the inconvenience of navigating numerous options and experience a total solution for any warehouse environment.”
