NexAIoT Co., a subsidiary of NEXCOM International and developer of AI-driven industrial automation, plans to showcase its latest autonomous mobile robot, or AMR, at CES this week in Las Vegas.
āCES provides the perfect platform to unveil NexMOV-2 and share our vision for the future of autonomous mobile robotics,ā stated Dr. Hoe Seng Ooi, chief technology officer of NexAIoT.
āThe NexMOV-2 reflects our clear commitment to continuous innovation and collaboration with our partners,” he added. “Through this solution, we are able to address the growing demand for intelligent, adaptable AI-driven robotics that industries across the globe need to navigate todayās operational challenges.ā
Fact.MR projects that the global market for mobile platforms will grow from an estimated $2.42 billion in 2023 to about $8.02 billion by 2033. This reflects a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.7% over this period.
NexAIoT said it designed the NexMOV-2 to meet the dynamic needs of modern industrial and commercial operations. The company plans to exhibit the technology powering its AMR with Kneron, a “full-stack” artificial intelligence provider.
The partners said the joint exhibition will highlight their ongoing collaboration and innovation in mobile robotics. The demonstration will be at Booth 9017 in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.

NexAIoT specifies NexMOV-2 features
The NexMOV-2 uses visual simultaneous localization and mapping (vSLAM) technology to enable precise, real-time navigation while eliminating the need for high-cost lidar. Its modular AMR controller supports Intel SMARC or Nvidia SO-DIMM modules. This offers scalability and customization for diverse applications across logistics, manufacturing, and healthcare, where flexibility and efficiency are critical, said NexAIoT.
The NexMOV-2 also features AI-powered 3D vision that complements its vSLAM technology. NexAIoT has integrated Kneron’s KL730 NPUāan AI 3D vision system designed for edge computing applicationsāinto the NexMOV-2.
The KL730 NPU enables advanced AI obstacle avoidance and sensor fusion recognition for SLAM applications, delivering high performance, precision, and efficiency with low cost and power consumption, said the partners.
A smart autonomous docking wireless charging system ensures continuous and reliable operation even in complex environments, asserted NexAIoT.
The New Taipei City, Taiwan-based company was founded in 2014 and has a presence in the U.S., Asia, Europe, and China. NexAIoT said it collaborates with leading cloud service providers such as Microsoft, Google, SAP, and Alibaba Cloud. It provides industrial PCs, factory automation, robotics, and Internet of Things (IoT) systems.
