As mobile robot providers scale their deployments, they are partnering to enter new markets. OTSAW Digital Inc. last week announced a strategic collaboration with TEAM 1ST Technologies LLC. The global robotics company said the partnership marks a significant step toward bringing leading-edge systems to U.S. businesses.

The collaborators said they will combine OTSAW’s knowledge of robotics with TEAM 1ST’s track record in providing systems to government agencies, small businesses, and Fortune 500 companies.
OTSAW serves multiple industries
OTSAW Digital Pte. Ltd., the parent company of OTSAW Inc., operates globally with offices in Singapore; Burlington, Mass.; and Augsburg, Germany. It offers automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).
The company claimed that its technologies are disrupting sectors including interior and exterior security, healthcare, cleaning, and logistics. OTSAW added that its multi-purpose robots such as Camello empower businesses in more than 20 countries, with over 1,000 robots deployed.
OTSAW said it has tallyed more than 3 million days of robot operations. It is also working with Texas Veteran Security to provide security for U.S. businesses.
TEAM 1ST focuses on facility management
For more than 15 years, TEAM 1ST Technologies has provided audio-visual, interactive, collaborative, communications, security, and robotics systems and integration. It said its primary focus is on the facility management Industry, serving areas such as hospitals and healthcare, commercial airports, and hotels and hospitality.
The Albuquerque, N.M.-based company also serves commercial and industrial spaces, retail and shopping malls, as well as other entities that need its robots for service applications. Users can augment their existing operational frameworks with automation for security, delivery, material transport, commercial vacuuming, and disinfecting, said TEAM 1ST.
It also recently announced a robot-as-a-service (RaaS) collaboration with Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. for external security.
TEAM 1ST and OTSAW stated that they are dedicated to ongoing innovation with the goal of expanding their impact into additional sectors. The companies asserted that their mobile robots can transcend industry boundaries, offering strong returns on investment (ROI) across various sectors and spaces.
