Podcast reviews the robots shown at ProMat and GTC 2025

Disney Engineering's BDX robot was at GTC 2025. GTC and ProMat highlights were the theme of The Robot Report Podcast Episode 188.

Listen here: The Robot Report Podcast Episode 188. In the latest episode of The Robot Report Podcast, co-hosts Steve Crowe, Mike Oitzman, and Eugene Demaitre recap robots that they encountered during the two major trade shows this week: ProMat and NVIDIA’s GPU Technology Conference, or GTC.

Steve and Gene attended ProMat in Chicago, where they saw innovations in autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), drones and robots for inventory, and self-driving forklifts. The editors also observed at the materials handling event interest in automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) and alternatives, more mobile manipulators, an increasing focus on data, and more.
