Polpharma, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer in Poland, needed to improve efficiency for internal logistics. It turned to automation from SEER Robotics and strategic partner PROMAG S.A.
Manual forklift-based operations at Polpharma were increasingly unable to meet the growing demands for efficiency, accuracy, and safety—especially in handling frequent, high-load material transfers between warehouse and production zones.
The company chose intelligent robots to streamline logistics, ensure the highest levels of operational safety, and comply with the stringent standards of the pharmaceutical industry.
PROMAG and SEER Robotics bring local, tech experience
With four decades of deep expertise in the Polish and European markets, a network of 10 regional branches, and more than 100,000 successful projects, PROMAG said it is a premier provider of localized intelligent warehousing and logistics solutions. The Poznań, Poland-based company said its understanding of local customer needs and comprehensive service capabilities ensure high-quality project execution.
SEER Robotics provides robot control systems, which it described as the “brain” of smart robots. The Shanghai, China-based company said its integrated open platform for developing, acquiring, and operating intelligent robots enables partners and customers worldwide to build their own robot fleets within days.
By combining PROMAG’s local market strength with SEER Robotics’ cutting-edge technology, the partners said they offer robust product assurance, professional technical support, and a rich ecosystem of industry resources. The duo said it can provide agile responses to customer-specific needs and create optimal solutions.
Intelligent forklift meets Polpharma challenges
In response to Polpharma’s needs, SEER Robotics and PROMAG jointly developed a forklift using SEER Robotics’ control system. It has fully automated material transportation between warehouse and production areas at the Polpharma facility.
The standard model forklift with SEER’s technology supports a maximum lift height of 3 m (9.8 ft.) and a load capacity of 1,400 kg (3,086.4 lb.). With a chassis width under 1 m (3.2 ft.), the lift truck is suitable for navigating the constrained environments typical of pharmaceutical factories, said SEER Robotics.
The solution also meets the pharmaceutical sector’s requirements for traceability and operational discipline in the pharmaceutical sector, according to the company. The intelligent forklift is CE-certified, complies with European safety standards, and integrates high-precision laser SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) navigation, multi-sensor fusion, and intelligent obstacle avoidance algorithms.
These design elements ensure comprehensive protection for personnel, goods, and products, said SEER Robotics.
“The automated forklift significantly reduces the reliance on traditional forklifts, mitigates risks associated with human-machine interaction, and delivers substantial improvements in overall process efficiency and workplace safety,” the company asserted.

System designed for collaboration, scalability
SEER Robotics also provided the M4 intelligent logistics management system, which enables integration between the robotic forklifts and factory infrastructure such as access controls, elevators, and call systems. M4 is also integrated with Polpharma’s WMS and enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, delivering visibility and lean management of material flows, as well as offering real-time data support for decision-making.
The modular architecture of SEER Robotics’ hardware and software allows Polpharma to flexibly add workflows as business needs evolve, said the companies. This lays the groundwork for future upgrades “toward a fully intelligent warehouse,” they said.
The partners said the successful implementation of the Polpharma project not only demonstrates PROMAG’s local service capabilities, but it also marks a significant milestone in SEER Robotics’ ongoing expansion into the European market and the pharmaceutical sector.
