China based Pudu Robotics is launching the new KettyBot autonomous mobile robot in Russia next month (September, 2021). Pudu Robotics has a large product line of delivery robots, each optimized for a specific service delivery use case.
KettyBot has innovative built-in features including a front facing, high resolution, advertisement display. The robot can navigate autonomously and is useful for guiding customers and delivering items. In addition, KettyBot features multiple robot interactions managed by the Pudu Robotics fleet management solution.
The solution has been designed for high-traffic restaurants where the robot can operate in the front of house to seat customers, take their orders and then deliver meals from the kitchen to the table. The menu ordering system can be integrated with any in-house point fo sale system to push customer orders directly to the kitchen staff.

A large LCD screen and AI-based audio interactions
The KettyBot includes a 470 mm (18.5″) screen that can display promotional advertisements, including images of meals, food items or special dishes. It is large enough to display a virtual menu, or play videos. KettyBot also features an interactive voice system that enables an audio conversation between KettyBot and customers as they make menu choices.
Autonomous operations
The robot is capable of full-autonomous operations as it navigates the restaurant seating area, while avoiding chairs, tables and patrons who are walking. It features a narrow design so that it drive in the tight spaces between tables.
