Jim Rock, Seegrid’s Chief Executive Officer, said: “Our customers span the global supply chain and are looking to accelerate productivity amidst pressures to reduce costs and improve safety. It’s a challenge we at Seegrid are uniquely equipped to solve, and we are very proud of our demonstrated track record helping some of the largest global brands in manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and e-commerce realize the full potential of AMR technology.”

Introducing The New Seegrid Palion Pallet Truck

The new Palion Pallet Truck Series 8 is a completely new platform that builds on top of Seegrid’s experience in pallet handling. The Palion Pallet Truck includes new lane staging capabilities that enable the AMR to autonomously identify separate “building”, and “depleting” lanes for precise, efficient pick-up and drop-off of palletized goods. Seegrid defines a lane as the area (in 3D space) reserved for AMR traffic. The new pallet truck also features an auto-charge capability. This enables you to keep your operations running 24/7, and to also “opportunity charge” a vehicle when it’s not allocated to a task for a period of time.

The Seegrid Palion Pallet Truck has a maximum payload capacity of 3,629 kg (8,000 lbs) and a maximum speed of 1,800 mm/s (4 mph). The vehicle dimensions are: 914 mm x 1524 mm x 2921 mm (36′ x 60′ x 155′) and weighs 1,157 kg (2,550 lbs).

The Seegrid Palion AMRs are completely compatible with Seegrid Fleet Central management software and enable you to track and monitor the flow of materials from any connected smart device.

“Now more than ever, our customers need flexible and reliable end-to-end automation solutions to safely move materials in their dynamic environments,” said Jeff Christensen, Seegrid’s Vice President of Product. “Seegrid Palion AMRs are designed specifically to help customers improve safety, increase throughput, and address labor shortages. As the market leader, we will continue to deliver on our commitment to provide innovative solutions for customers to automate even more processes and applications for continued improvement and safety across their facilities.”
