AMR manufacturer ForwardX has a deep product line of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for a number of industries and applications from warehousing and manufacturing, to logistics and delivery.

The ForwardX Apex product line includes two vehicle configurations, the Apex 1400-L and the Apex C1500-L. Both AMRs are capable of picking up and moving floor-placed pallet loads throughout a facility. The C1500-L is the counter balanced version of the fork lift AMR.

Apex uses the latest multi-sensor fusion technology and computer vision to accurately sense any changes in its environment, such as moving or stationary obstacles. It can also figure out the angle at which a pallet is placed and make adjustments on its own in real-time.

FowardX expanded its sales and support to North America in August, 2022 with its firs customer Hiocloud in Edison, New Jersey.

The ForwardX 1400-L measures 1665 mm (65.55 in) x 950 mm (37.4 in) x 1,900 mm (74.8 in). The maximum payload is 1,400 kg (3,086 lbs), and it can lift a pallet to a maximum height of 1,500 mm (59 in).

All of the ForwardX AMRs feature visual SLAM for obstacle avoidance, localization and navigation. The ForwardX fleet management solution enables multiple ForwardX AMRs within a facility to communicate with each other and coordinate their operation.
