10. PepsiCo deploys Mecalux automation in Polish warehouse

Mecalux announced that it has installed robots at the first PepsiCo automated warehouse in Poland. The facilities, which cover an area the size of seven soccer fields, produce bags of potato chips and other snacks for the European market, primarily Germany, it said. Read more

Vanderlande Industries BV, a global provider of warehouse automation solutions, yesterday said it will offer Hai Robotics Co.’s mobile robots with its Tote AV portfolio in North America. The automated case-handling robots, or ACRs, are ground-based systems that operate in secured, fully automated environments for case and tote handling. Read more

8. Dexory brings in $80M to support global expansion

Dexory announced it closed an $80 million Series B funding round. The robotics and data intelligence company said the funding will support an expansion of its AI-powered features across its DexoryView platform. The Central London-based company also plans to grow its global team and accelerate the deployment of its autonomous robots. Read More

Valeo, a global automotive parts manufacturer, has optimized its dock operations by partnering with Slip Robotics. Through the deployment of SlipBot autonomous mobile robots, or AMRs, Valeo said it has drastically reduced its truck loading and unloading times sixfold. Read more

5. Symbotic to deploy automation at two Walmex sites in Mexico

Symbotic Inc. in October 2024 entered into commercial agreements with Walmart de México y Centroamérica, also known as Walmex. The companies will implement Symbotic’s warehouse automation in two of Walmex’s locations near Mexico City. Read more

4. Vecna Robotics introduces CaseFlow automated case picking system

Vecna Robotics introduced CaseFlow, an “end-to-end” system for case-picking operations. CaseFlow uses pallet-handling robots for up to 90% of warehouse travel and orchestrates workers with dynamic, directed zone picking, the company said. CaseFlow can more than double site performance while improving worker satisfaction and safety, claimed Waltham, Mass.-based Vecna. Read more
