
The Warehousing Education and Research Council, a division of MHI, invites logistics professionals to register for the WERC Annual Conference, which will be from June 8 to 11, 2025, at the New Orleans Sheraton Hotel. This event is intended to provide industry leaders with practical insights to enhance operational efficiencies and maintain a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment landscape.

Keynote presentations
The WERC Annual Conference will host two keynote speakers to engage and challenge attendees:
- Destin Sandlin: Monday, June 9, “The ‘Smarter Every Day’ Perspective: Embracing Change and Breaking Barriers.” Sandlin, engineer and YouTube creator of the popular series Smarter Every Day, will challenge attendees to rethink old habits and embrace change to drive innovation. Drawing on his scientific storytelling and viral experiments like the “Backwards Bicycle,” Sandlin will motivate warehousing and distribution leaders to approach obstacles with adaptability and fresh perspectives.
- Sugar Ray Leonard: Tuesday, June 10, “The Power to Win!” Boxing legend and Olympic gold medalist Leonard will share how discipline and resilience have shaped his career, making compelling parallels to the logistics industry. Through his dynamic storytelling, Leonard will inspire attendees perform under pressure and strive for championship-level success in their careers.
